Hmm, I have not read any of Wolfe, but when I looked up the definition of the word I didn’t see why it was on the list, and decided to keep digging. I think maybe this word is on the list for the books, but there’s also the idea of naming a people or creature that has no shadow (for whatever reason) ascican as well.
